THE ROLE 

We are now searching for a Warehouse Manager to lead our North American fulfillment center. In this role, you will lead a team who always support each other and ensures that the machinery works and is constantly evolving to stay in the forefront of the ever-changing ecommerce landscape.  

In this position you will have a key role in establishing our new North America fulfilment center, based in Columbus, Ohio. The initial focus will be on establishing the fulfillment center, setting up processes and recruiting the right people. Once operational, you will be responsible for managing the site and leading the fulfillment team members.  

Within the role, you will work to establish processes and drive continuous improvement. You will be the main point of contact for the fulfillment center and responsible for ensuring that the inbound and outbound processes are running properly. Communication, process development and problem-solving make up a large part of daily activities. This is an exciting role with varying tasks and where you will get the opportunity to get a unique insight into our operations. You will be a key member of the company’s North America team which was recently formed to accelerate Desenio and Poster Store’s expansion across the region. You will report directly to our General Manager, North America, who encourages a collaborative and innovative work environment.  This is a team of problem solvers, optimists and creative thinkers who share a passion for building brands and operational excellence.   

YOUR MAIN JOB ASSIGNMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE 

  • Overall responsibility for Desenio’s North America fulfillment center operations. 
  • Lead, inspire and manage fulfillment center team members. 
  • Hiring, onboarding and training fulfillment center team members and scheduling day-to-day warehouse shifts. 
  • Ensure that warehouse production is aligned with order intake on daily basis. 
  • Daily problem-solving related to order fulfillment. 
  • Process development for quality improvement together with our HQ in Sweden and our suppliers. 
  • Maintaining positive relations with our suppliers and shipping providers.
  • Working towards continuous process improvement and a logistical workflow. 

WHAT SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR  

  • 3-5+ years progressive fulfillment experience. 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate to all levels of the organization. 
  • Willingness to work in a fast growing and at times chaotic environment. 
  • Excellent team building skills and the ability to inspire team members to achieve results. 
  • Persistence and ability to plan both long and short term.
  • Enjoy hands-on problem solving. 

IT’S A PLUS IF YOU ALSO HAVE 

  • Bachelor’s degree within Logistics, Operations or Supply Chain Management. 
  • Previous experience within ecommerce fulfillment and direct-to-consumer.
  • Proficient with inventory management and warehouse management software. 

PRACTICAL INFORMATION 

Start date: As soon as possible, according to agreement. 
Extent: This is a full-time position and benefits including 401(k), health, dental and vision insurance, and paid time off. 
Location: Columbus, OH (Lewis Center area)
